If you didn’t know this, voting when you’re not legally allowed to vote is a federal crime.
Apparently, the Justice Department didn’t know this.
The DOJ filed a lawsuit against the state of Virginia, alleging that it violated federal law by passing a law that would remove non-citizens — ineligible voters — from its voter rolls.
Because, you know, non-citizens can’t vote in federal elections. That’s the law. But in an effort to curb illegal voting in the state, the Virginia government is actually being sued by the federal government to… allow illegal voting?
It makes no sense, and it’s not supposed to. This is just another selective lawsuit by the DOJ to satiate their Democratic handlers — that is all. They don’t want voter ID, they don’t want immigration status questions on the census, and now they want people to illegally vote.
