Mullins then hit his fourth homerun of the season, a two run shot to right, in the fifth inning. That homerun earned both he and Jordan Westburg (3 for 4, 2B, R, 2 RBI), who scored ahead of Mullins, a drink from the new Orioles Hydration Station.

Adley Rutschman and Ryan Mountcastle each went 2 for 4 with a run scored.
Starting pitcher Cole Irvin lasted 4.2 innings and was visibly bothered by being taken out. Irvin allowed 2 runs on 6 hits (1 HR) and struck out 6.
Dillon Tate (1-0) was credited with the win, allowing 1 hit in 1.1 innings.
Keegan Akin (0.1 IP, 2 R, 2 H, K) was not as sharp as he has been of late.
Yennier Cano allowed 2 hits and struck out 2 in 1.2 innings of relief.
