On Sunday, it was reported that Enrique Bradfield Jr., the Orioles’ #4 prospect, was getting promoted from High-A Aberdeen to AA Bowie. Bradfield was Baltimore’s first-round pick in 2023 and has hit .267/.345/.363 for the Ironbirds. Bradfield’s most important offensive asset has arguably been his baserunning ability, as he is currently 59-for-68 on steals.
In his 81 games with the IronBirds, Bradfield has had 20 multi-hit games and 15 multi-stolen-base games. He was drafted 17th overall in 2023 from Vanderbilt, and hopefully, his speed will help him find an important defensive and offensive role in Bowie for the rest of the 2024 season.
Alongside Enrique Bradfield Jr., outfielders Tavian Josenberger and Reed Trimble have also been promoted to the Bowie Baysox. Josenberger is hitting .230 with 9 home runs in 2024 and was the Orioles’ third-round pick in 2023. Trimble is hitting .253 with 5 home runs and was a part of the Orioles draft class in 2021.
