The Washington Mystics have finalized their coaching staff for the 2025 season under head coach Sydney Johnson by bringing on Barbara Turner and Clinton Crouch as assistant coaches.
Turner has been appointed as an assistant coach, bringing extensive experience from her time with the South Bay Lakers, Atlanta Dream, Houston Rockets, and Capital City Go-Go. Turner also boasts a 15-year playing career in the WNBA and internationally. Turner played college basketball at Connecticut.
Crouch has been named head of player development, with over two decades of coaching experience across various levels, including a tenure as an assistant coach for Georgetown’s men’s basketball team. Crouch previously contributed to the Mystics in 2010, aiding in player development when the Mystics made a surprisingly strong showing as the Eastern Conference’s top team with a 22-12 record and with three All-Stars in Crystal Langhorne, Lindsey Harding and Monique Currie.
