The Washington Wizards guard had surgery today to repair the injury.
The Washington Wizards headed to Montreal, Quebec last week before their preseason game against the Toronto Raptors. And though the Wizards started their trip at full strength, they didn’t leave that way.
Last Saturday, guard Malcolm Brogdon suffered a right thumb injury. That doesn’t seem major at first, but he had a surgical procedure dont earlier today in New York City, according to a Wizards press release. It is unclear when he will return.
Last season, Brogdon averaged 15.7 points per game, though it was in just 39 appearances. Given his ability to make an impact at both the point and shooting guard positions, this injury news isn’t good to say the least.
