
Iriafen is projected to go No. 3, Citron at No. 4, Sellers at No. 6.
The Washington Mystics are projected to select Kiki Iriafen (USC), Sonia Citron (Notre Dame), and Shyanne Sellers (Maryland) in the 2025 WNBA Draft according to a mock draft by ESPN’s Michael Voepel earlier today.
Kiki Iriafen, a 6’3” forward, averaged 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game at USC . She stepped up with a 36-point, 9-rebound performance in the NCAA Tournament after JuJu Watkins’ injury . A former Stanford standout, Iriafen won the 2024 Katrina McClain Award as the nation’s top power forward .
Sonia Citron, a 6’1” guard, posted 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game in her senior season . A two-time All-ACC First Team selection, she is known for her versatility and defensive prowess .
Shyanne Sellers, a 6’2” guard from Maryland, averaged 14.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in her senior season. She earned All-Big Ten honors and is recognized for her playmaking and defensive skills.
This trio would provide the Mystics with a strong foundation of frontcourt scoring, perimeter defense, and local talent as they rebuild. That said, we’ll see how everything unfolds tonight. The draft is at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight on ESPN.
