The Wizards face off against the Bucks after the All-Star Break.
The Washington Wizards had an impressive three-game road winning streak right before the trade deadline. That’s a time when a lot of teams are missing players due to trades, but the Wizards were showcasing and so it seems everybody put on their best performances in an effort to impress suitors and get out of D.C. One of those trades sent Wizards “Franchise Cornerpiece” (thank you Tommy S.) to Milwaukee in return for… peanuts, spare change, and buy-out candidate Khris Middleton. This is after for two straight years the Wizards refused to trade Kuz for less than 2 first-rounders… #SoWizards.

Pregame notes
Kuz homecoming — Well, given that he was literally just traded I’m not sure there will be a video tribute ready in time, but, hey, Kuz will sure be happy to be playing in D.C., but on the visiting team. It will be interesting to see if his career-low averages this season take a leap now that he’ll be a bit more motivated to hoop.
Khris Middleton — Middleton on the other hand is clearly not in D.C. to increase their win total. It will be interesting to see if he is actually bought-out or just waived.
Flashback: The Bucks show up for scrimmage
Some years ago the Wizards traveled up north to get a good pounding by the Bucks. In an effortless (and defenseless) game the bucks dropped 151, that’s right… Let’s hope that doesn’t repeat. The Wiz defense has been like Swiss cheese for a few years now. Watch for yourselves:
