Game Notes and More
- The Clippers are coming off of a blowout loss to the Celtics, but they have been surprisingly good this season. They had won five straight heading into that game and sit at 11-8 on the season. Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac have been legitimate stars and would both be up for All-Star consideration if they were not playing in the absolutely loaded Western Conference.
- The Wizards, on the other hand, are clearly looking to Capture the Flagg. Washington has lost 12 straight games, almost all of which were blowouts.
- Alex Sarr put up an efficient 20 points in the Wizards last game, a loss to the Bulls. The Wizards’ rookie trio are all still looking good and will likely all three be on the All-Rookie team at season’s end.
