Game Notes
The Wizards play their second game in as many nights on the road as they play against the red-hot Sacramento Kings. How hot have the Kings been? They have won 9 out of their last 10 games, which has occurred after the firing of their former head coach, Mike Brown.
Despite the addition of DeMar DeRozan, the Kings have underachieved this season, just being one game over .500, and that’s after their recent streak. In a competitive Western Conference, wins are huge, especially after such a terrible start.
For the Wizards, the team is looking for just their 2nd win on the road. They will also look to break their 9-game losing streak after losing a close one to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. Can the Wizards get a rare road win? Can they cool off one of the league’s hottest teams?
