Bilal Coulibaly continued to impress by coming through with another career-high in scoring.
The Washington Wizards won angainst Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, 133-120.
Just two days after the Wizards got their first win of the season against the Hawks in Atlanta, Washington continued to play strong basketball. Bilal Coulibaly scored a career-high 27 points, with Jordan Poole adding 24 more. Jonas Valanciunas added 22 more off the bench.
On Monday, Coulibaly spent a lot of time defending Hawks guard Trae Young, who didn’t get going offensively. Tonight, Young had a big scoring night, scoring 35 points.
In this game, the Hawks were leading for most of the first half, not unlike Monday’s game. However, the Wizards shot 60 percent in the second half with Valanciunas scoring 18 of those points to give Washington a much needed win, and a .500 record!
The Wizards will be back on action on Saturday when they head to Mexico City to play the Miami Heat. Tip off is at 9:30 p.m. ET. ¡Hasta luego!
