Little went right for the Wizards tonight, though Corey Kispert led with 17 points.
The Washington Wizards lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, 136-95 at Capital One Arena.
Let’s say that this was another good ole’ butt kicking at Washington’s expense. They shot just 33.7 percent from the field, committed 18 turnovers and wer out rebounded 56-39. Those Things end up being the ingredients for a very lop sided game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 27 points. He shot just 5-of-17 from the field which the Wizards will take any day. But he also shot 16-of-17 from the free throw line. In addition, Aaron Wiggins scored 23 points off the bench.
None of the Wizards’ starter performed well tonight. The top performers were Corey Kispert, who led Washington off the bench with 17 points. Jonas Valanciunas also came off the bench where he scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
