Washington kept things interesting throughout the game until the fourth quarter when Anthony Edwards took over.
The Washington Wizards lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night 120-106 at Capital One Arena.
For most of this game, the Wizards played the Timberwolves competitively. They were leading Minnesota for stretches in the first and third quarters and were down 82-79 to start the fourth quarter.
However, in the fourth quarter, the Wolves went on a large run to break the game open. Anthony Edwards went off for 20 of his 41 points. Justin Randle added 20 more.
For Washington, Kyle Kuzma led with 22 points and Jordan Poole had 20.
