This year featured a new four-team format
The 2025 NBA All-Star Game featured a new four-team format. Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith drafted teams, while Candace Parker coached the winning team of the Rising Stars Game.
Team Chuck defeated Team Kenny in the first game behind a 5-for-5 shooting performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Team Shaq, which featured Steph Curry and Damian Lillard, knocked off Team Candace and the young Rising Stars behind eight straight points from Jaylen Brown.
Steph Curry scored 12 points as Team Shaq defeated Team Chuck 41-25 to win the 2025 All-Star Game. Curry won the All-Star Game MVP.
LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Edwards (groin) didn’t play on Sunday.
