At least they beat the Hornets four times!
The Washington Wizards are 11-49 with the worst ranking in ESPN’s latest NBA power rankings. Here is what Ohm Youngmisuk wrote about Washington:
The Wizards have won just 11 games this season but four have come at Charlotte’s expense after sweeping the season series against the Hornets on Saturday. Of their 11 wins, Washington has also beaten Atlanta and Brooklyn two times each. It has won two of its past four overall as it plays Utah before embarking on a seven-game road trip.
Given how tough the Wizards’ season is going, Washington is rightfully in 30th place of 30 teams. But at least Washington has had its fair share of wins against other lottery bound teams, including a season sweep of the Charlotte Hornets.
