The Washington Wizards have interviewed Trajan Langdon for their head of basketball operations opening. Langdon is currently the general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans, working under VP of basketball operations David Griffin.
Washington fired front office leader Tommy Sheppard last month, after four years of leading the team’s basketball operations. Wizards owner Ted Leonsis said he plans to go outside of the organization to bring in his next head of basketball operations.
Langdon has been with the Pelicans for the last four seasons. He joined the team after three years as the assistant GM for the Brooklyn Nets.
