The Washington Wizards and Landry Shamet have agreed to move his $11 million guarantee date to July 13th from its Saturday deadline. The Wizards will explore trade scenarios involving Shamet and could also retain him next season.
During the 2021 offseason, Shamet and the Phoenix Suns agreed to a four-year, $43 million extension. The Suns traded Shamet to the Wizards last offseason as part of the Bradley Beal deal.
In 46 games with the Wizards, Shamet averaged 7.1 points in 15.8 minutes.
Shamet is represented by George Langberg and Jason Glushon.
