The two were on reserved status and will be on the training camp roster this season.
On Tuesday, the Washington Mystics announced that they have signed forward Emily Engstler and guard Sug Sutton to training camp contracts.

Both Engstler and Sutton were rotation contributors in the 2024 season. They were also both on reserved free agent status, meaning that the Mystics had sole negotiation rights with them. It’s also a good bet that both will make the opening day roster and have larger roles this season.
After a long offseason where the Mystics are entering a season of uncertainty in many fans’ eyes, it’s good to see that they’re making some news by filling out the roster.
