STREAK BUSTERS PT 2?
Just a few days ago Georgetown ended both an overall and road losing streak with Villanova. Today the Hoyas can do the same when they visit Providence. Georgetown has lost seven straight to the Friars, 17 out of 20 and last won in Providence in 2019.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
Georgetown: After the upset win at Villanova during the week, the Hoyas have a chance to win consecutive road conference games for the first time since 2018. A win would get the Hoyas back over .500 in the league. The last time Georgetown had a winning league record after nine games was back in 2016. Oh, and there’s also that little business of Ed Cooley returning home to potentially earn his first win over Providence in five tries.
