Akok Akok has become the latest player to transfer from one Big East school to another.
The 6-foot-9 junior forward is moving to Georgetown from UConn after averaging 3.4 points and 3.2 rebounds last season.
He visited Georgetown, Pitt and West Virginia.
He joins inter-league transfers David Jones (who went to St. John’s from DePaul) and Corey Floyd Jr. (to Providence from UConn).
He is the fourth incoming Georgetown transfer along with guards Brandon Murray (LSU), Jay Heath (ASU) and Primo Spears (Duquesne).
Georgetown has seen six players transfer out since the season ended.
