Maryland field hockey’s NCAA Tournament draw was released Sunday night, with head coach Missy Meharg’s team facing a challenging slate.
The Terps (13-6, 6-2 Big Ten) are set to play in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for the opening weekend. Maryland faces off against Duke (12-6, 6-2 ACC) on Friday. When the two teams faced off on September 8th, Maryland dropped a neutral site game against the Blue Devils, 1-0.
If the Terps win, they will play either No. 1-seed North Carolina (18-0, 8-0 ACC) or the winner of Delaware/Fairfield on Sunday. The times for all games are yet to be announced.
