The two missed the entire 2024 season with injury, but combined for 173 goals and 73 assists in their freshman and sophomore seasons. They will graduate from Yale in 2025 and are not allowed to compete in the Ivy League as graduate students.
The Terps have struggled to find a true No. 1 option on offense since the departure of Logan Wisnauskas in 2022. Either Johnson or Lyons could be Maryland’s go-to guy in two seasons.
