Five Maryland football alumni — Tai Felton, Kaden Prather, Dante Trader Jr., Jordan Phillips and Tommy Akingbesote — were announced Thursday as participants in the 2025 NFL Combine.

The NFL Combine is a showcase hosted in Indianapolis in late February and early March ahead of the NFL Draft, where top prospects are interviewed by NFL teams and physical measurements take place. Around 66% of Combine participants are drafted each year, according to DraftWire.
Phillips is the highest-ranked former Terp on Pro Football Focus’ draft board, slotting in at No. 105. Prather is No. 195, Felton is No. 204, Trader is No. 239 and Akingbesote is No. 319. There are 257 allotted picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
