Maryland men’s basketball received a commitment from Texas A&M transfer guard Andre Mills, he announced on Instagram Wednesday morning. He is the third former Aggie to follow head coach Buzz Williams to College Park.
Mills redshirted his freshman season at Texas A&M, not appearing in a single game. The Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, native was a highly-touted high school prospect in the class of 2024, though. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, Mills was the No. 92-ranked player and No. 18-ranked shooting guard in the country.
He projects as a backup wing for Maryland, who now has five players — all transfers — on its roster.
