Here’s how former Maryland football players performed in the NFL this past week.
Week 11 of the NFL season has come and gone, and some former Maryland football players produced their best games in weeks.
Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still was everywhere in a 34-27 win overthe Cincinnati Bengals.
Playing on Sunday Night Football for the first time in his career, the rookie posted five total tackles and set a new career single-game best with four solo tackles.
Still spent most of the game covering Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who had a big game for Cincinnati, but not when defended by Still. Chase caught both of his touchdowns Sunday night on routes away from the former All-Big Ten second-team selection.

Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore looked more like his usual self in a 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Moore snatched each of his targets and finished with a game-high seven catches for 62 yards. The performance represented Moore’s most catches in a game since Week 3 and most receiving yards since his lone 100-yard game in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.
Colts safety Nick Cross took a step back in Indianapolis’ 28-27 win over the New York Jets. After averaging 11 tackles per game over his last two outings, Cross finished Week 11 with a season-low four tackles.
Cross also made just three solo tackles against the Jets, less than half of the seven solo tackles he had in Week 9 and Week 10 each.
While Cross set a season-low for tackles on Sunday, Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson recorded a new season-high for rushing attempts.
In a 30-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Johnson had five carries for 18 yards, with the longest rush going of 8 yards and a first down on the Bills’ final drive before halftime.
The five carries were Johnson’s most in a game since he had seven carries for 40 yards in last year’s AFC Divisional Round game, also against the Chiefs.
