Two teens were injured in shootings early Saturday in the Edgewood neighborhood of Southwest Baltimore, police said.
Around 2:58 a.m., Baltimore Police responded to the 600 block of Allendale Street for a report of a shooting . Officers located a 17-year-old male inside a home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
While still on the scene, officers were informed of a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. When they arrived, officers found a 17-year-old female suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigators learned that both victims were shot in the 600 block of Allendale Street, but did not say whether the events were related.
It marks at least the third shooting in the area in a little over a week.
On April 18, police were called to the 600 block of Allendale Street for the shooting of an unidentified male just after 11 p.m.. The victim was pronounced dead by medics on the scene. That investigation is ongoing.
