The Baltimore Ravens officially release their week by week schedule on Wednesday night.
The Ravens will open their season in Kansas City against the defending Super Champion Chiefs. The Ravens and Chiefs kickoff the NFL season on September 5th, a Thursday night primetime contest. The Chiefs defeated the Ravens in the AFC championship in Baltimore in 2023, on there way to their second straight Super Bowl victory. The Chiefs have been a thorn in the Ravens side the last few season as the Ravens are 1-4 (including playoffs) against the Chiefs since 2018.
The Ravens will have their home opener the following week, week two, against the Las Vegas Raider at 1 PM.
In total the Ravens will be on primetime five times in 2024. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills come to Baltimore for Sunday night football in week four, while the Ravens will travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers on Monday night football in week seven. The Harbaugh Bowl Part three will take place in week 12 as the Ravens travel to Los Angeles for Monday night football.

The Raven face off against local rival the Washington Commanders in Baltimore in week six .The Ravens then welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to Baltimore in week 13, and wrapping up their battle with the NFC East away at the New York Giants in week 15.

Following the week eight trip to Cleveland the Ravens welcome the Denver Broncos to town as they will likely face rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who was selected by the Broncos with their 12th pick in last months NFL draft.
The Ravens take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh in week 11 for a 1 P.M. contest, with the Steelers coming to Baltimore in week 16 for a 4:30 Saturday matchup.
For the Ravens fifth and final scheduled primetime game, and for the second straight season the Ravens will play on Christmas day. The Ravens will have another playoff rematch in week 17 as they take on the Houston Texans. The Ravens faced the Texans in week one in 2023 before defeating Houston in the divisional round of the playoffs. This matchup as the potential to be the game of the year as Texans quarterback C.J Stroud along with newly acquired wide receiver Stefon Diggs will look to take an even bigger jump then they did in 2023.
The Ravens bye week comes as a good time as well as its in week 14. Late byes can go a long way for teams like the Ravens who are looking to push late into January and comes right before a stretch against the Steelers and Browns, as well as the previously mentioned Christmas day matchup against the Texans.
But while the lights will be bright this season, the Ravens won’t have the easiest path back to the playoffs, as based on 2023 records the Ravens have the second hardest schedule. One positive is the Ravens will travel only 15,424 miles, the 11th least of any NFL team, compared to the 25,442 miles the Ravens traveled in 2023.
