Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ties franchise record with his 12th offensive player of the week award
A pattern may or may not be emerging.
In Week 4, Derrick Henry won AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The next week, Lamar Jackson won the award. Henry won it again in Week 6. Now, Lamar Jackson has won it again in Week 7.

This is Lamar Jackson’s 12th Offensive Player of the Week award, coming off a massive 41-31 win on the road in Tampa Bay. This award puts Jackson in a tie for most Player of the Week awards in franchise history, with kicker Justin Tucker.
Jackson has won Player of the Week multiple times in a single season for his fourth season now. In 2020 and 2023, he won the award twice as well. He won an outstanding five times during his 2019 MVP campaign, including two weeks in a row.
