Fans weren’t happy with the Ravens’ lack of adding a pass rusher at the NFL trade deadline.
Earlier this week, Baltimore Beatdown polled our readers on their satisfaction in Ravens’ NFL trade deadline moves, their confidence in the teams’ direction and if they believe this roster can win a Super Bowl. The results, sponsored by FanDuel Sportsbook, show Baltimore Ravens fans were largely unsatisfied with the trades they made.
Ravens fans wanted a pass rusher. Teams were largely unwilling to deal their players, including the Raiders with Maxx Crosby and Giants with Azeez Ojulari. Only Preston Smith of the Green Bay Packers and Za’Darius Smith of the Cleveland Browns were moved, while the Ravens added cornerback Tre’Davious White in a low-capital exchange. They also acquired wide receiver Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers, which was a solid acquisition, but fans wanted the team’s defenses to be upgraded, which left them unhappy.
While fans were unhappy with the lack of big-time moves at the deadline, the majority of fans still remain confident the current roster can win the Super Bowl.
More importantly, an even greater amount showed they’re confident in the direction with the team.
Entering Week 10 with 78% is only a one-percent difference in confidence than when the season began. Now, to find out how fans’ feel after the Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
