The ramp-up for Keaton Mitchell has formally arrived.
Positive reports hit the timeline on Wednesday for the Baltimore Ravens regarding injury updates. The first being cornerback Marlon Humphrey reportedly avoided a major injury after going down against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
#Ravens All-Pro CB Marlon Humphrey did not suffer a major knee injury last week, sources say following tests. He’s walking around with little discomfort.

Humphrey is arguably the most important member of the Ravens’ defense right now and losing him long-term would’ve spelled potential disaster. Instead, they can hope he returns against the Cleveland Browns, or wait and give him an extra week of rest to recover if he’s not quite there.
The second bit of positive news came in the form of running back Keaton Mitchell reportedly to begin practicing and begin his 21-day practice window.
The Ravens are planning for RB Keaton Mitchell, who has been sidelined since sustaining a major knee injury last December, to start his three-week practice window this week, per sources. Mitchell has been on the PUP list to start the season.

Mitchell has been on a long road to recovery after tearing his ACL on Dec. 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In his limited rookie role, he rushed for 396 yards and two touchdowns on 47 carries for an astounding 8.43 yards per carry. If Mitchell can return to his electrifying form, he’ll be another unfair addition to the Ravens’ already unstoppable run game.
