Ravens injury updates before their Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns.
The final practice before the Baltimore Ravens face the Cleveland Browns in Week 8 saw a positive update as wide receiver Zay Flowers return to practice.
Flowers missed the past two practices after suffering an ankle injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. With Flowers participating on Friday, it’s a positive trend toward playing on Sunday.
Cornerback Marlon Humphrey did not return to practice on Friday, meaning he’s been absent all week after suffering a knee injury that kept him from the second half of Monday’s game. It’s becoming more likely Humphrey will not play on Sunday, leaving the Ravens down arguably their best defender.
However, the Ravens will likely get an addition to the secondary as cornerback Arthur Maulet had his first full participation practice on Thursday and sounded like he’ll be on the field come Sunday.
“I’m ready,” Maulet said. “I don’t have too many words. I’m ready to play.”
The Ravens also did not have running back Rasheen Ali or cornerback T.J. Tampa practice on Friday.
