After missing the past two practices, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice.
Jackson missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with back and knee injuries. According to Head Coach John Harbaugh on Wednesday, it was a rest day for his first absence, but two absences signal he is likely dealing with something more than on a precautionary level.
Jackson’s injury comes at a difficult time as they face the Denver Broncos on Sunday and a second game five days later in a regular season rematch against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night. It’s fair to consider whether the Ravens are wanting to rest Jackson against the Broncos so they can have Jackson healthy for an important divisional prime time game.
The injury report for the Ravens will determine if Jackson’s participation was limited or full. Harbaugh will be asked at the 1 p.m. ET podium as to the status of Jackson, though Harbaugh is traditionally apprehensive about sharing player’s statuses due to not give away a competitive advantage.
