One shocking NFL move could involve running back Kenneth Walker in a possible trade this offseason. According to a Bleacher Report, the source predicts the Seattle Seahawks could trade Walker to the Raiders but the move may come either way since the team is rebuilding. After trading DK Metcalf and releasing Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks are not in a position to make the playoffs anytime soon so they could continue trading away most of the players that coming from the Pete Carroll era. The running back is coming off his worst season last year playing in just 11 games and battling through injuries in his third season in the league.
Originally selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Wake Forest and Michigan product has been depleting since stepping onto the field for a professional team. Walker totaling 573 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on just 3.7 yards per carry is a career low for the running back in all three areas. It’s been an up-and-down season for the running back and since Pete Carroll was responsible for his draft selection, head coach Mike Macdonald may pull the cord. This leaves room for the potential emergence of Zach Charbonnet who’s been holding down the stomping grounds being a reliable runner for the Seahawks.
With that, the Seahawks might as well put Walker on the trade block if he doesn’t have any future after his rookie deal is over. Walker might not earn a starting role anytime soon but these three fits could give him a revival.

Potential Destinations
Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers finally made a few moves to improve its offense but it might not be enough again to get past the wild-card round. While Najee Harris signed with the Chargers, it puts the offense in a good place of what Jim Harbaugh is looking for, but they need another capable running back to replace Gus Edwards. Walker isn’t a fine starter in the league for now but since Harris is a one-year deal, the two could compete who could earn a long-term deal with the Chargers. The team got Harris since he’s more of a physical running threat but this unit lacks is speed.
Walker might not be the fastest but it gives the Chargers a boost if they trade for him. He isn’t too far from becoming a reliable package as long as he can stay healthy. Walker isn’t winning the starting job but they need some type of chain mover for this offense.
New Orleans Saints
For the Saints, the team cut Jamaal Williams and they can’t easily depend on Kendre Miller who’s still developing. Star Alvin Kamara is a lighting in a bottle but he’s human so he needs some type of relief in the background. Walker might be depleting but he could be a resourceful redzone rusher.
Baltimore Ravens
The same can be said about Derrick Henry just like Alvin Kamara. However, since Henry has that injury history, the Ravens might want to stay cautious. Keaton Mitchell’s return was a disappointment so the team could benefit from a more experienced runner like Walker.
