The Washington Commanders (12-5) face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7) in a Week 1 rematch from Raymond James Stadium in the NFC wild-card round on Sunday. When these teams met in Week 1, the Buccaneers defeated the Commanders 37-20, but much has changed.
Tampa Bay jumped out to a 13-0 lead over Washington before breaking the game open early in the fourth quarter. The Bucs never trailed. It was Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels’ first career start. Daniels completed 17 of 24 passes for 184 yards and led Washington with 88 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
