The Washington Commanders (6-2) play their second divisional game of the season on Sunday, facing the New York Giants (2-6) from MetLife Stadium. This will be New York’s fourth NFC East game this season, having faced Washington, Philadelphia and Dallas thus far.
The Commanders defeated the Giants in Week 2, 21-18, without scoring a touchdown. While Washington had no problem moving the ball, multiple red-zone penalties forced them to settle for field goals. It was Austin Seibert’s first game with the Commanders, and he made all seven attempts. However, the Giants may have beaten Washington if not for losing kicker Graham Gano.
