I put a spotlight on this post last night, but if you want to know something just as crazy, Tyler created an algorithm that projects future frame size and athletic scores for high school players. The Bucs and Commanders have the same amount of average plays run per game, BUT….
Commanders average play clock left at the snap – 11.3 seconds
Bucs average play clock left at the snap – 8.4 seconds
Over the course of an entire game, that is a difference in time of possession of over 3 minutes!

Initial tests showed that the knee injury Packers receiver Christian Watson sustained in Sunday’s loss to the Bears was a torn ACL, a source told ESPN. https://t.co/wrg3JUDwnj

Deshaun Watson has encountered a setback in his Achilles rehab, and he could require a second surgery as a result. The #Browns‘ QB approach for 2025 remains on track to include at least one notable addition:https://t.co/DmBPmRdIJQ
— Pro Football Rumors (@pfrumors) January 6, 2025
Watson having a setback in his rehab could have interesting ramifications on the Browns’ cap situation by the way.
Remember, they have an insurance policy on the vast majority of his 2025 salary. The more games he misses, the more cap relief they get from that policy.
— Brett Kollmann (@BrettKollmann) January 6, 2025
I’m pretty sure the policy is worth like 44 million in cap credits if he missed the entire year, and that would be given back to them in their 2026 cap calculations
