Player Overview
A four-star recruit from Woodrow Wilson High School (NJ), Fadil Diggs committed to the Texas A&M Aggies. After a redshirt freshman year, Diggs became the starter in 2021 and steadily improved over his collegiate career. He was not only developing as a raw prospect, but also won the locker room becoming team captain in his last season with the Aggies in 2023. Diggs transferred to Syracuse University in 2024 to play closer to home and with his brother. In his final season, he turned heads with career highs in tackles (45 combined), tackles for loss (14) and sacks (7). His senior season earned him honorable mentions from the ACC and an invite to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Fadil Diggs is a prospect that looks the part but still needs development to optimize his talent. He has the versatility to play in even and odd fronts, rush standing or in a three point stance, and he tests well athletically. He is strong enough to bully tight ends and blockers with subpar anchor and footing. Fadil is at his best in pursuit, whether bending around the blocker or pursuing ball carriers from behind. But where his physical traits can make him a decent player, Diggs has yet to refine the skills to make him a great prospect.
Consistency is the main issue behind Diggs’ subpar traits. He opens his chest up to blockers by not using his arm length more often. He has trouble diagnosing plays and making quick adjustments. His pass rush relies more on his physical tools when the initial move fails. Fadil Diggs projects to be a rotational player with intriguing pass rush and physical traits, limited by consistency and rush technique. Fadil Diggs projects to be a Day 3 selection. Where he is selected depends on whether a team believes he can be a starter or a rotational player.

Metrics

Fadil Diggs is a DE prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.35 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 131 out of 2012 DE from 1987 to 2025.https://t.co/wb3oTWX0nz pic.twitter.com/XLdfe9mi52

Strengths
- Has the desired build and measurements of an edge rusher.
- Good closing pursuit, sideline-to-sideline speed.
- Fluid in space, able to track the QBs eyes to contest passing lanes.
- Natural leader, team captain with two separate teams.
- Adequate bend with a few solid moves to beat blockers.
Weaknesses
- Success of the rep heavily depends on how the initial point of attack turns out.
- Plays with high pad level, loses leverage against the run.
- Relies of strength, speed-to-power rush when initial pass rush fails.
- Slow to diagnose plays and react quickly.
- Needs better technique and leverage when setting the edge.
Let’s See His Work
Fadil Diggs is #10
Syracuse EDGE Fadil Diggs is one of my favorite mid-late day 3 options for the #Titans to double dip at edge on in the draft.

-rip move is nasty
-top end athlete with rare bend

How Will He Fit On The Team
If there is one thing Washington’s defensive line lacks it is projectable upside for the defensive ends. Washington has veteran players like Dorance Armstrong, Clelin Ferell, Eddie Goldman, and Deatrich Wise, but they are who they are. If the front office and coaching staff prefer to have vets as the starting defensive ends, and use their largest draft capital on other positions, Diggs could find himself wearing burgundy and gold. Diggs could find himself getting limited snaps as a rotational pass rusher and can spend the first two seasons coached by the man of consistency himself, Ryan Kerrigan. Fadil already has a few tools that alone can generate pressure or make himself a disruptor in the backfield. Diggs has nearly every physical trait one could hope for from a defensive end prospect. A selection for Diggs, is a trust in the defensive line coaches to maximize Fadil’s potential to become a starting defensive end for years to come.
