The Washington Commanders defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 in overtime to improve to 11-5 and clinch a spot in the NFC playoffs.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels, who rushed for a career-high 127 yards, found tight end Zach Ertz for a two-yard touchdown with 2:45 remaining to give the Commanders their fourth straight win. It’s Washington’s first playoff berth since 2020.
