Get ready for game day!
Week 5 of the 2024/25 NFL season opened with an NFC South thriller between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons. Kirk Cousins lead the game-winning drive in another fun shootout. Washington is 3-1 after beating the Arizona Cardinals 42-14 last week. They’re now back home, ready to host the Cleveland Browns. Washington opened as 3 point favorites, and that line has held all week. The Over/Under also held steady at 43.5.
The Browns come into this game with a 1-3 record. Their offense with Deshaun Watson at QB hasn’t been good, and their defense hasn’t been as good as advertised before the season started. Their only win came against the 0-4 Jacksonville Jaguars, and they’ve lost to the Cowboys, Giants, and Raiders.
Jayden Daniels continues to improve every week, and he’s lifting the team with his better-than-expected play as a rookie. He will face a different test this week against a better Browns defense under veteran DC Jim Schwartz. Washington will have all of their running backs available, but will be down a receiver with Noah Brown out with a groin injury.
