Injury updates
The Washington Commanders enter their Week 9 matchup against the New York Giants with several players dealing with injuries. Cornelius Lucas suffered an ankle injury vs the Bears and didn’t return to the game. He sits this practice out, and will hope to return vs the Giants on Sunday. The only other player who didn’t practice was Zach Ertz who got his weekly vet rest day.
Jayden Daniels practiced today, but it was a very light practice/walkthrough. Brandon Coleman suffered a concussion vs the Panthers and didn’t play against the Bears Sunday. With Lucas dealing with an ankle injury, Coleman’s health will be a key to Washington’s offense.
