The Washington Commanders (7-2) host the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) in what could be the game of the week for the NFL in Week 10.
Washington enters Sunday’s game winners of three in a row, including Sunday’s hard-fought 27-22 win over the New York Giants. Coincidentally enough, Pittsburgh’s last win came against the Giants, a 26-18 victory in Week 8. The Steelers were off in Week 9.
The Commanders will face quarterback Russell Wilson, who will make his third start of the season. He is 2-0 as a starter after replacing Justin Fields, who led the Steelers to a 4-2 start. The Steelers are known for their outstanding defense. While Washington rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has played against some quality defenses in recent weeks, he has yet to face a unit like Pittsburgh’s, led by T.J. Watt.
The Steelers rank No. 8 in FTN’s defensive DVOA, while the Commanders rank No. 2 in offensive DVOA. With Washington playing at home, seeing the Commanders open as a slight favorite is no surprise.
According to BetMGM, Washington is a 2.5-point favorite. Here are the early lines ahead of next Sunday’s battle between these two division leaders.
