Dan Quinn speaks to reporters at the NFL owners meetings in West Palm Beach, FL
Washington Commanders GM Adam Peters spoke to the media yesterday at the NFL owners meetings in West Palm Beach, FL, and today it was HC Dan Quinn’s turn in front of the microphones. Deebo Samuel will be a fun player for Kliff Kingsbury to work with in his offense, and Quinn said he’d be used “inside, outside, in the backfield, all the spots”.
Washington added another key piece on the offensive side of the ball by trading for LT Laremy Tunsil. This move forces last years starter, rookie Brandon Coleman, to another spot on the offensive line. Quinn said they’re going to try him at right tackle, but he also has experience at guard.

For clarification, was told Brandon Coleman and Andrew Wylie will both start the offseason program at right tackle and compete there. Whether one moves inside to guard depends largely on Sam Cosmi’s timetable of recovery from a torn ACL.https://t.co/KsIvVwtVwZ
