Dan Quinn speaks to the media after practice
Dan Quinn named this week’s captains at the start of his post-practice presser, headlined by Zach Ertz who had two touchdown catches last week. He also ruled out three players for the season finale against the Dallas Cowboys. Marshon Lattimore misses another game with the hamstring that he re-injured against the Eagles. Quinn said he likes his speed and he’s very close, but won’t try it this week. Jordan Magee(hamstring) and Tyler Owens(ankle) have also been ruled out for the second week in a row.
Austin Ekeler’s 21-day window was opened on Wednesday, and he’s returning from his second concussion of the season. Quinn said that he’s had a fantastic week, and they will be deciding soon whether to activate him. He’s a big part of what they want to do on offense, but they could still choose to wait until the playoffs start next week.

Austin Ekeler is tbd for Sunday, but it sure sounds like he has a very good shot to be activated off IR. Dan Quinn said the RB had a strong week of practice.
Washington certainly misses his creativity and versatility out of the backfield.
