Dan Quinn speaks to the media before practice
The Washington Commanders held their last full practice of the week before traveling to Tampa Bay tomorrow. They are playing the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football, and head coach Dan Quinn announced the team captains for the playoffs. Players voted, and five team captains were selected, and Redskins legend Doug Williams has also been named an honorary captain for the team’s playoff run.
Quinn gave some positive injury updates on several players including Marshon Lattimore who is good to go on Sunday. He’ll resume his rivalry with Buccaneers’ WR Mike Evans. Quinn said that getting players like Lattimore, Jonathan Allen, and Austin Ekeler back for the playoffs could have a huge impact. Frankie Luvu and John Bates are both dealing with shoulder injuries, and were wearing non-contact jerseys today. Quinn said that was a precautionary thing to protect them from themselves. They’re both good to go for Sunday.
