Congratulations!
The Washington Commanders are 12-5, going to the playoffs, and having their best season in decades. Success bring accolades from your peers, fans, and the people that write about you every day. We’ve been giving the team all the credit they deserve, but now four players have been given another nod for their hard work this season. The team, and head coach Dan Quinn, announced this morning that WR Terry McLaurin, RB/KR Austin Ekeler, and LBs Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu have been voted second-team All-Pros.
This is the first All-Pro nod for everyone on that list not named Bobby Wagner. The future Hall of Famer has been voted an All-Pro for 11 season straight(6 first-team, 5 second team). Terry McLaurin was also voted onto the first team of the Pro Bowl this season, along with rookie QB Jayden Daniels. Austin Ekeler had a pretty good career with the Chargers, but this is the first year he’s been voted in, and it was for his work as a kick returner. Frankie Luvu was snubbed(not even fifth-alternate!) for the Pro Bowl, but now has an All-Pro nod on his resume.
Our most All-Pros since 1991

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin, LBs Frankie Luvu and Bobby Wagner, and KR Austin Ekeler were all voted second-team all-pro by the Associated Press. It’s the first time since 1991 that Washington has had as many all-pros in a season (they had 9 that year).
