No prizes; just bragging rights
If you’d like to get in on the fun of picking this week’s winners in the NFL without having to risk any money or win any prizes, I’ve got the contest for you.
This is actually two contests:
- Simply pick the winner (Pick’em)
- Pick against the spread (Spread)
You can participate in either, both, or neither.
- No entries will be accepted after kickoff of the Thursday Night Football game.
- If you want to change your entry, simply click the appropriate link below and fill in another entry form. I will use the last one submitted prior to TNF kickoff as the official entry.
- The spreads used for the Point Spread contest will be the ones available to me at the time of writing the article and they will not change.

Bragging rights for this week
Pick’em
There were 45 entrants in this weeks Pick’em contest, down quite a bit from last week’s total of 60. Out of 14 games played this week, four entrants — 486math, Skeets83, Skinsnj, and steelking55 — predicted 11 games correctly, though I don’t think any of them had the same 11 teams. Another 5 entrants were right behind them with 10 correct predictions.
Point Spread
We had 29 entries in the Point Spread contest (down from 36 entries last week). As usual, there was a single entry that outpaced the rest in this contest. Joeynine correctly identified 11 spread-adjusted winners, matching the performance of the 4 winners in the Pick’em contest, which is quite an achievement. Two entrants, HK2000 and Grimm, were just a step behind him with 10 correct predictions, while HTTR86 and country_roads_take_mahomes hit on 9 each.
Congratulations to all on another great week of predictions. Don’t forget to click the links above and get your entries in for this week; it costs nothing to enter except a few minutes of your time, and the pride of winning will warm you for an entire week and give you something to brag about that will drive your friends and family crazy.
