No prizes; just bragging rights
If you’d like to get in on the fun of picking this week’s winners in the NFL without having to risk any money or win any prizes, I’ve got the contest for you.
This is actually two contests:
- Simply pick the winner (Pick’em)
- Pick against the spread (Spread)
You can participate in either, both, or neither.
- No entries will be accepted after kickoff of the Thursday Night Football game.
- If you want to change your entry, simply click the appropriate link below and fill in another entry form. I will use the last one submitted prior to TNF kickoff as the official entry.
- The spreads used for the Point Spread contest will be the ones set by me at the time of writing the article and they will not change.

Bragging rights for this week
Please note that there was an error on the Week 11 entry forms; I mistakenly listed the Lions opponent as the Panthers instead of the Jaguars. By the time I was aware of the error, it was too late to take action to fix it. As a result, the Jags-Lions game wont be included, so only 13 games will be counted in the Week 11 contests even though 14 games were played. My apologies for any inconvenience.
Pick’em
There were 54 entrants in this weeks Pick’em contest, up from last week’s total of 45. With 11 correct picks out of a possible 13 (due to my error on the Lions game) Iss0150 was the high scorer this week. Another 8 contest entrants correctly picked 10 of 13 winners.
Point Spread
We had 35 entries in the Point Spread contest (up from 29 entries last week). While ties in the Pick’em contest are common, they are less frequent in the Point Spread contest. I believe this week’s 4-way tie is unprecedented in this contest. NU’06er, Hawk, Pontiac68, and Commanders17.0 each managed to navigate the point spreads and come up with 10 correct predictions out of 13 possible points-adjusted game outcomes. Five entrants were able to make 9 correct predictions and anther 5 came up with eight.
Congratulations to all on another great week of predictions. Don’t forget to click the links above and get your entries in for this week; it costs nothing to enter except a few minutes of your time, and the pride of winning will warm you for an entire week and give you something to brag about that will drive your friends and family crazy.
