Several players have elevated their game since the postseason started, and it has paid off with a potential bid to the Super Bowl
Washington has made it to the final four of the NFL season, with a Super Bowl bid on the line this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders have undoubtedly shocked the NFL with the turnaround that head coach Dan Quinn accomplished with his team. It has been an exciting season, and Washington does not get into the position they are without key players elevating their game even more in the playoffs. Receivers Dyami Brown and Terry McLaurin are tied for second in the NFL postseason in receptions and rank third and fourth, respectively, in yards. Rookie cornerback Mike Sainristil is tied for first in the NFL in interceptions, safety Jeremy Chinn leads the NFL in tackles, and Dorance Armstrong is tied for second in sacks.
Several more role players have stepped up their intensity for the playoffs. This indicates that proper leadership is in the building and that everyone is on the same wavelength the further they advance into the postseason. All the while, Jayden Daniels, a rookie quarterback who has yet to flinch in these high-stakes moments, is leading the team. He heads to his first NFC championship game, leading the NFL in passing yards and completions and tied for first for touchdowns. Additionally, Daniels has done a great job protecting the football and his offensive line, as he has the best sack percentage by a large margin.
