Washington hosts Dallas
Week 12 of the 2024/25 NFL season opened with a classic snow-filled AFC North matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns. The Steelers were 8-2 and still lost to the 2-8 Browns in a division upset. The Washington Commanders are hosting the Dallas Cowboys and opened as big home favorites. That line went from -9.5 to -10.5, but the over/under has stayed at 44.5.
Washington is 7-4 after dropping their last two games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. They get a chance to return to their winning ways when the 3-7 Dallas Cowboys come to town. They’ve been having a disastrous, injury-filled season that seems to get more embarrassing every week. Jerry Jones continues to run the franchise like a drunker Dan Snyder, and they’re in for a major reset after this season.
The Washington Commanders have two games before their Week 14 bye, and will need both of those wins if they want to stay in the division race with the Eagles. The Cowboys will be starting Cooper Rush again, and their offense has been limited. This should give Washington’s defense an opportunity to win their matchups consistently. The Cowboys defense has been getting some players back, but they are still very bad against the run, giving Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler a shot at big days. Jayden Daniels has been dealing with a rib injury, but a 10-day rest will give him the chance to show that he’s back to his early-season form.
