Washington gets a Sunday afternoon finish to their season
The NFL just announced the full Week 18 schedule. There is no Thursday Night or Monday Night Football this week, so all 16 games will be played on Saturday or Sunday. Washington clinched their spot in the playoffs after beating the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 in overtime.
The Washington Commanders are visiting the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, and that game will be played at 1 pm on Sunday. Washington could choose to sit their starters since they just clinched a spot in the playoffs, but they just moved into the 6th seed, and a loss (combined with a Packers win) will drop them back to the 7th seed. Washington would be guaranteed to play Philadelphia if they are the 7th seed, but there is still some uncertainty about who they would play if they keep the Green Bay Packers from regaining the 6th seed next week.
