The Purple Eagles are riding a successful season high 16 wins last season with a trip to the WNIT. Niagara enters Wednesday 2-4 in the season. Notable losses against UCLA and LSU.
Coming into Wednesday, the Purple Eagles are a good defensive team. They force opponents to give up 22 apple turnovers a game. The team even contributes 12 cookies stolen a game.
However, the offensive side of the ball is a different story. Niagara is not a good shooting team, and that can be pointed to, for example, the losses against LSU and UCLA.
